In 2023, AAPI communities across Texas united to stop discriminatory alien land laws, and Rep. Gene Wu led the fight against these harmful attacks in the Texas Legislature. Together, we prevented these bills from becoming law. But the fight is far from over. Similar proposals resurfaced in 2025, and anti-Asian policies continue to threaten our communities, our rights, and our future in Texas. We cannot afford to wait until these attacks become law.
